Ben Kelly

During the summer of 2009 Ben was commissioned by the British Council to make and select locations for two stile sculptures to be exhibited within the Timeless exhibition at Experimenta Biennale of design in Lisbon.

In the UK stiles are a means of travelling across countryside barriers, and are a physical expression of the democratization of space. Ben Kelly positioned two oak stiles: one externally at Museu Colecção Berardo, and the second internally in the main entrance lobby to Antigo Picadeiro do Colégio dos Nobres.
