Kelly was commissioned by PrettyBird to create a fashion show set for Preen by Thornton Bregazzi's Ready-to-wear Autumn Winter 2019 collection.
The setting for the fashion show was in the 35,000sq ft former royal mail warehouse next door to the new American Embassy in Vauxhall, London.
Kelly designed the runway as a journey configured around the columns already built into the architecture of the warehouse. He added a cruciform crossover at the entrance and exit and the audience sat around the outside edge of the runway, looking inwards towards a cruciform within the centre. This was made up of tall multi-coloured poles, three metres in height, creating a striking forest effect through which to view the collection.
